We are relieved and grateful for the release of two colleagues after they were detained earlier this year in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). These are committed public health workers, one of whom is a physician, who have worked for the health of the Congolese people for decades.
The CHAI DRC office is open as we continue our long-running health system strengthening work in collaboration with the DRC government, focused on increasing access to HIV diagnostics and care, reducing malaria deaths, and improving reproductive health.
