The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) and Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC) are pleased to publish the ninth edition of the Family Planning Market Report. Featuring data from 17 suppliers, the report provides the global health community with enhanced visibility into public sector contraceptive procurement, including drivers of market trends over the last five years, global procurer spending patterns, and for the first time this year, findings on domestic government financing for contraceptive procurement, across low- and lower-middle income countries. For additional analyses, aggregated shipment data by country compiled from data provided by 17 suppliers in Appendix A can be accessed alongside the report.
The report is a resource for the reproductive health community for insightful data and analyses for developing and implementing more effective strategies for increasing access to contraceptive products and services in low-resource settings. We thank the 17 participating suppliers for their important contribution to this initiative.
