We are excited to introduce the new website for the THRIVE Project, a comprehensive platform dedicated to promoting our mission of addressing advanced HIV disease. This site provides valuable information about our initiatives, new AHD-focused resources, and insights into our impactful work in the countries and communities we serve.
In 2023, 630,000 people died from AIDS – more than one death every minute. This staggeringly high number of preventable deaths reveals a stark gap between global goals and actual outcomes.
Through the generous support of Unitaid, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)-led THRIVE Project, in collaboration with Afrocab and Penta, is enabling access to critical prevention, screening, and treatment commodities for advanced HIV disease to reduce mortality among adults and children living with HIV. Our primary goals are to enable access to critical prevention, screening, and treatment commodities, and to implement comprehensive care strategies tailored to pediatric patients. By centering local leadership and community-owned solutions, we strive to find and serve people with AHD where they are, ensuring they receive the life-saving treatments and support they need.
