CHAI has conducted a comprehensive Landscape Assessment of Diabetes in Ethiopia. The assessment provides critical insights into the current state of diabetes care nationwide. We used a mixed-methods approach, examining the supply chain management, service availability, and delivery to individuals living with diabetes. It also identifies key gaps and opportunities to strengthen the health system’s response to this growing challenge.
Along with the assessment, we developed a diabetic patient education flipchart with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH). This resource is designed to support healthcare providers in delivering effective education and counseling to patients, empowering them with the knowledge to manage patients’ conditions better.
