Ebola Response in Liberia

Published May 8th, 2015

In 2014, CHAI played leadership roles within case management, training, and logistics facets of the Ebola response in Liberia and served as a critical link between the international emergency response and the government of Liberia. CHAI was ultimately responsible for advising the government and implementing massive scale-up of treatment centers, training of health workers (both national and international), and distribution of critical supplies to health workers in need. As the response grew in size and scope, CHAI liaised with and coordinated partners to streamline activities and ensure they were aligned with governmental goals.
