In support of the ongoing efforts by the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Health (MOH) to strengthen the National Medical Oxygen Ecosystem, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, (CHAI), is a sub-grantee of FHI360, on the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project, a global five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). FHI360 is the prime implementing partner for EpiC.
EpiC receives COVID-19 funding to prevent, prepare for, respond to and bolster health systems to address COVID-19 and reduce cases of re-emergence. Part of EpiC’s COVID-19 program is to provide high-quality oxygen systems.
CHAI seeks interested and capable vendors to submit proposals for construction works, supply of liquid oxygen tanks, installation of medical gas pipeline system (MGPS) in hospital wards and distribution manifolds system for eight(8) government hospitals in North, Central and Southern regions as detailed in the bid document.The scope of work includes:

Bids must be submitted in hard copies and properly sealed and clearly marked “RFP/CHAI/PIP/TANKS/MW/01/23”. Proposals must be submitted by Friday 25 April 2023, 12:00PM (GMT+2). Bids submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Interested bidders or their representatives must attend the mandatory site visits as indicated in Instruction to Bidders (ITBs) sections of the Request for Proposals.
