To strengthen medical oxygen availability in the health system, the Ministry of Public Health, with the support of technical and financial partners (CHAI, UNICEF, WHO, CDC, etc.), has developed a National Strategic Plan for the Provision of Medical Oxygen (NSPMO) for the period 2021-2025. The second strategic axis of this plan is to establish a medical oxygen supply system in health facilities. The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) with funding from Unitaid has purchased 1,300 oxygen cylinders. Prior to their distribution, CHAI is preparing to support the filling and transportation/distribution of these cylinders to 67 health facilities in 10 regions across Cameroon.
It is in this regard that CHAI Cameroon seeks interested and capable vendors to submit proposals for the filling and transportation of the 50L oxygen cylinders procured by CHAI as detailed in the Product information (Annex A) of this Invitation To Bid (ITB). When preparing your ITB, please use the technical specifications, and details attached in Annex B and the CHAI code of conduct and ethics for suppliers in Annex C for guidance.
Any queries or clarifications on this ITB should be submitted via the email: chaicameroonprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting ITB/CHAI/CYL/CAA/0523 in the subject line by 12 midnight WAT, June 21, 2023. Responses will be shared via all ITB solicitation channels, including emails.
Bids must be submitted on or before 12 midnight WAT, July 12, 2023 via the email chaicameroonprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting ITB/CHAI/CYL/CAA/0523 in the subject line.
