Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the supply of VIE systems, civils, installation and commissioning services for various health facilities in Tanzania (Dar-Es-Salaam)
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a sub-grantee of FHI360 on the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project, a global five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). FHI360 is the prime implementing partner for EpiC.
EpiC receives COVID-19 funding to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and bolster health systems to address COVID-19 and reduce cases of re-emergence. Part of EpiC’s COVID-19 program is to provide high-quality oxygen systems.
CHAI therefore seeks reputable and capable contractors to submit bids/proposals for the supply of VIE tanks, Vaporizers and VIE plinth civil works at various medical facilities in Tanzania, as part of efforts to improve medical Oxygen availability in the proposed facilities.
All requests for clarifications should be sent to chaitzprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org on or before 23rd September 2023, 5pm EAT quoting ITB/CHAI/VIE/TZM2301 in the subject line.
Should your submission be large and cannot be sent by email, send an email to request an upload link with the subject ‘Requesting upload link’ to chaitzprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org on or before 2nd October 2023 1 pm EAT.
All bids/proposals received in response to this tender will be opened publicly in front of all the bidders who choose to attend. The bid opening will take place on 9th of October 2023 at 01:00 pm EAT at the following location: CHAI Tanzania Office, Conference Room, Dar-e-Salam, Tanzania .
Submissions after the deadline will not be considered. While vendors may bid for one lot, all lots, or any combination of lots described. Medical Liquid Oxygen supply and transport services for operational first fill must be assessed against CHAI’s quality policy. Vendors may be requested to submit additional information and/or cooperate for a site visit alongside CHAI to project site(s) prior to finalizing a contract and/or purchase order.
