Invitation to bid (ITB) for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of medical oxygen and nitrous oxide, and vacuum installation at seven regional hospitals in Mozambique

N.B:

Due to technical delays in providing interested bidders with the drawings for Hospitals Central de Maputo and Quelimane, only the proposal submission for the two hospitals has been extended to 1700 hours SAST, April 11, 2025. The proposals submission deadline for the rest of the hospitals remains unchanged as March 31, 2025.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) with funding from Global Fund invites interested and capable vendors to submit bids for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of medical oxygen and nitrous oxide and vacuum Installation at 7 regional hospitals in Mozambique namely:

  1. Hospital Provincial de Tete,
  2. Hospital Central da Beira,
  3. Hospital Central de Quelimane,
  4. Hospital Central de Maputo,
  5. Hospital Provincial de Chimoio,
  6. Hospital Central de Nampula,
  7. Hospital Provincial de Lichinga.

When preparing your submission, please refer to the ‘TENDER DOCUMENT’ for each hospital and complete the ‘BID SUBMISSION DOCUMENT’ for each hospital. Additionally, vendors must use the provisions of CHAI’s Global Essential Medicines Code of Conduct and Ethics for Suppliers in Annex A.

Any queries or clarifications on the RFQ should be submitted via mzlocalprocure@clintonhealthaccess.org by 16h00 on March 20, 2025. 

Bids must be submitted on or before March 31, 2025, midnight EDT via email to mzlocalprocure@clintonhealthaccess.org.

Annex A: CHAI code of conduct for suppliers

The CHAI code of conduct for suppliers is a minimum set of requirements that suppliers must meet to qualify to do business with CHAI and remain in good standing with the organization.
