Request for proposals for the supply of medical oxygen equipment in Eastern Africa

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is supporting the strengthening of medical oxygen ecosystems, including improving medical oxygen availability and supply systems in Eastern Africa through the support of Unitaid. The East Africa Program on Oxygen Access (EAPOA) aims to improve access to medical oxygen in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) across East Africa. The initiative seeks to bolster the capacity of local manufacturers to meet the growing demand for medical oxygen.

CHAI seeks proposals (RFP) from interested and capable vendors to supply the following:

  1. Medical Liquid Oxygen Cryogenic Tanks-Vacuum Insulated Evaporator (VIE) and Vaporizers
  2. Combined/ Manifold VIE Control Panel
  3. Pressure Reducing Station
  4. Cryogenic Medical Oxygen Storage Micro Bulk Tanks & Accessories
  5. Medical Oxygen Flow Meters

Submissions

Interested manufacturers must submit their RFP (electronically) to the email ID chaikebids@clintonhealthaccess.org quoting the relevant RFP reference number in the subject line no later than 5 pm EAT on May 23, 2025.

For any clarification / queries please write to us at chaikebids@clintonhealthaccess.org with RFP reference number in the subject line by May 9, 2025. CHAI may contact respondents for further discussions regarding submissions and subsequent procurement.
